Three easy steps:

  2. Enter your information
  3. Provide a few supporting documents

1) The death, injury, or illness happening to the attendee, a member of their immediate family who is under the age of 70, or any person(s) in the group due to attend the event with the attendee;
2) Adverse weather including snow, frost, fog or storm where the Police service or other local Government agency have issued warning not to travel;
3) Mechanical breakdown, accident, fire or theft in route of a private vehicle taking the attendee to this event;
4) Jury Duty which the attendee was unaware of at the time of registration;
5) The attendee being summoned to appear at court proceedings as a witness which they were unaware of at the time of registration;
6) Burglary or fire at the residence of the attendee in the forty-eight (48) hours immediately before this event that required attendance of the emergency services;
7) The attendee being a member of the armed forces and being posted overseas unexpectedly;
8) Unexpected disruption of the public transport networks the attendee could not have reasonably known about before the date or time of this event;
9) The attendee being relocated for work more than one hundred (100) miles from the work location which they were unaware of at the time of booking, or they are unexpectedly terminated from their job.

Upon the conference opening on the first day of the event

Sorry, registration fees cannot be pro-rated. If you attend one day of registration you cannot be refunded for any other missed functions.

As soon as you know that you’re unable to attend our conference – Whether you enter a claim 6 months out or 30 days after the event, the policy will provide a 100% refund should you be unable to attend due to a covered reason.

Absolutely! If anything comes up and you have to miss the event, you can file a claim up to 30 days AFTER the event to get your full refund! 

This coverage is underwritten by Lloyds of London. It is powered by Rainprotection Insurance.

Nothing! It is automatically included with your registration.

Rainprotection Insurance handles everything. Their claims department provides an online claims website that will manage all claims and issue refunds.

Our cancellation policy is as follows for those reasons not covered under the insurance policy:

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of registration will be refunded in full minus a 10% processing fee. This does not apply to registrations made within 30 days of the conference.
  • Cancellations made 8 days after registration through 31 days before the conference date will receive the full tuition amount minus a 10% processing fee in the form of a credit for a future conference held by Medical Education Specialists.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days before the conference date will not be refunded.

Please email cancel@medicaleducationspecialists.net to request cancellation for a reason not covered by insurance.

You will need to cancel your hotel reservation through Disney either by phone or online through their reservation system. In general, rooms can be cancelled 5 days before the check in date for a full refund. If you must cancel within 5 days, please contact Disney directly. There is usually a monetary penalty for cancellation during that time frame. All resort refunds are handled by Disney and cannot be handled by Medical Education Specialists. Our Inability to Attend insurance program does not cover hotel reservation costs.
